Our committee addresses the needs of young children, prenatal to age five with a focus on critical needs in our community for young children. Through membership participation and fund raisers, funds are distributed to recognized community organizations and agencies, as well as public schools, to address needs such as:

·Infant health through safe sleeping, car seats, and parent awareness and education for Shaken Baby Syndrome and SIDS prevention

·Literacy for young children through supporting the local Reach Out and Read Program at the Health Department

·School supplies for pre-K and kindergarten
